Okay, over the past year or so I've had some weird clutch issues. So I purchased a new clutch/pp setup (ACT) and went to have my flywheel resurfaced. I dropped it off and they called me back saying something was abnormal on the reverse side of the flywheel. I honestly can't say that I can rememer even ever looking at the back side of the flywheel so I don't know what it is supposed to look like.

My question: if the picture shows something weird, what would cause it?

I would describe it as a very small perfectly squared valley maybe 2mm wide and 1mm deep.

Hopefully the picture shows what I'm talking about.

 

Might help if you take another photo zoomed out a little bit, hard to get any real perspective from there

Are you talking about the keyway groove???
That's NORMAL.
