Ey I was just wondering if anyone has put what is supposed to be for an s4 radiator into an s5 model. Been trying to purchase a new one for a month now and all new radiators I can find are about 240-270 lol one quote was for 516$! So pretty much have any of you bought a s4 radiator an put it in an s5? I found a new s4 one for 150$ so you see why I'm asking! If there are other threads containing this information, please politely refer me to that thread cause for me it's hard to search through threads on mobile! Thank you!!

 

s5 engine lacks a coolant fill point.. so its rad has one
.. s4 engine has a fill point,, so the rad does not ..

.. there is however very late s4 rads that have the cap on top of the top tank and thus will work with either combo

,, be wary what you buy as you may find you now have no fill point or overflow system

 

I'm in the process of doing that now actually, i have a s4 rad that im going to put into my s5. My s5 rad brackets are too short but not by much i can cut and extend them no problem. When i was looking for info i read that all i have to do is get s4 brckets and thats it. So im looking for some now ,dont wanna hack my s5's up.
