S4 Aux Port Hose ideal exhaust location
I have a S4 NA motor in my B2200, currently not running and 5/6 port actuators. Since its a truck, I have been manually switching my ports open or closed depending if I am hauling anything, getting to be a pain. I actually have working actuators now, and I would like to install the system, if it will work with my exhaust. I have a pacesetter header, and after the collector that has been straightened (not angled toward center of car), it goes into 2 1/4" pipe right into a 90 degree bend, then about 12" of straight pipe, then another 90 degree bend to get the exhaust on the left side of the the drive shaft. It then goes into a magnalfow oval 12" long muffler, then about 4" of pipe, and into a Magnaflow XL 7" round muffler that is 27" long, a few bends to get over the axle, and dumps it out behind the left rear wheel. I am running no cats, only the 2 muffler, all bends are mandrel bent, and using 2 1/4" pipe and mufflers.
As for where to weld the bung for the actuator exhaust pressure source, I assume it will be near the collector? And should I point the bung toward the exhaust flow, away, on the outside of a corner, inside, etc... Also, will the actuators even work with my exhaust setup?

Damn, I was hoping you wouldnt say that. The header is not easy at all to remove, I have to lift my engine up about 4-6" to get it off the studs, and I cant lift my engine up more than 1" with the tranny attached. I will see if I can weld something with it in the vehicle, possibly on the side? Should this port be angled perpendicular to the pipe, or facing the exhaust flow, or away?
