RX7 Build Help

Hey everyone,

I am completely new to any kind of tech or maintenance. I am really wanting to get a manual RX7, either first or second generation. I prefer 2nd gen though.

I am seeing shells at great prices. From more experienced people, how hard is it for a novice to learn how to and to actually build up a shell?

What about if it is not just a shell, but needs some components built and/or replaced?

I am open to having a project car, I am just wondering how difficult it is when you're new to it and if anyone thinks this is a realistic idea.

I hate to sound cold, but I would reconsider until you have some experience. No tech or maintenance experience would be fine if you want to try and change oil on a running car for the first time, it's not going to end well trying to build a shell of a car with parts sourced from all over.

Plenty of us with experience go through troubleshooting and hardship just repairing these cars. You're going to put yourself in a tough, expensive predicament.
