CA RX 7 Electrical Connections.

Since I have spent a lot of time working on my 85 GSL, I have reached some strange conclusions.
1. The electrical and wiring on these cars is a PITA!
2. The smog related relays / solenoids are a PITA!

Since I live in the great republic of California, I must make do with this stuff. However, I have found a few products that will save you some time and effort.

Electrical connections / relays / solenoids / etc... all must be clean and kept clean.
"Meguire's Hot rims" is good for cleaning connections and metal-clad contacts. Usually I clean up stuff with some de-greaser and then apply this, then POW! Instantly it's shiny and new again. I then follow up with a conductive die-electric grease. This stuff is used to lube conduit and sustain conductivity. you can get it at Home Depot. I was able to get my ReX in good working order by using these methods. Hope this helps someone.
