Rotor housing question

I ordered a new rotor housing off ebay (dumb move) and my buddy is telling me its not the rear housing like i ordered. Is there any kind of marking on the housing to tell what it is. Its a 13b motor

what year housings ? On 3rd gen rotor housing there is and F and R above the mazda emblem
