Rotary Engine Process...how it all works
Hello all!
I'm new to the board...kinda. I have a C5 right now and am looking at getting an FD. I'm very intrigued by rotary engines. I have been looking around on the forum for a couple months and am shopping around, but would really like to learn more about exactly how a rotary works. I won't ask the annoying questions about first mods
If someone has a good site explaining the more technicalities of a rotary engine, that would be awesome. I've read quite a bit already and searched the web, this site, and "how stuff works" even. I'm picture oriented so some pics or diagrams of a rotary and how it works would be awesome.
Also any other good info (I read the pages that are linked for the newbies in one of the forums) would be awesome.
Thanks and I'm excited about my first turbo car.

Try going to www.howstuffworks.com and typing 'rotary engine' in the search field. They have a very good description, including graphics of how they work. good luck..

Well, the first one still doesn't seem to work and as I said, I've already looked at the how stuff works page. I was looking for a little more I guess...thanks for the references guys. I think I have the general principles down, I was just looking for an explanation of parts and what each part does I guess.
Thanks
Thanks

The "how stuff works" page has motion pictures that you can stop, and click for it to go 1 cycle at a time. You have to read in about 2 or 3 pages, but it has pics of the parts, and show them all moving.
