Just curious have tore down several S5 motors one was tagged reman. but this is my first FD and am seeing alot of red paint. looks like there could have been a reman sticker on the water pump housing that fell off (some adhesive marks there) antifreeze fire put her down. motor turns freely ,rear turbo coked up white.and locked up tight, front turbo fine. Is the red paint normal oem production markings ,or signs of a reman?

 

it just looks like it was rebuilt....the markings helps with the reassembly of the engine...it may be a reman but i cant tell
