I have just replaced my engine in my second gen gxl but it just does not want to idle. I have tried different injectors, new O2 sensor and the only things I can think of now is the throttle positioning sensor, a vacumm leak and/or a bad mass airflow sensor. I took it mazda to have them check it out but I am afraid I know more about rotary engines than them and thats very very because I dont know alot. What my question is though is; is there anyway I can check out the Throttle sensor of mass airflow sensor myself or will I haveto take it back to Mazda? Please tell me I can check or adjust it myself.
