Question Rebuilding my engine

I was curious on ow hard is it to rebuild my motor? I have a good workshop manual that takes you step by step and a very very good mechanic. I was plannin on goin ahead and sending it off to get it rebuilt and ported and other things. Just wanted to rebuild it after it went out. I really want to build it myself so i can have more knowledge about them and i dont have to keep sending them off after they go out. wise thing to do or not?

There is a VHS video you can get .... How to overhaul your 13B Engine ... That should answer a lot of your questions.

I have the video and it is very detailed. I would definitely suggest getting it. It is almost 3 hours long and goes into great detail, especially about how to clean, inspect, measure tolerances, and reassemble.

You can order it at:
