the archive has lot of info

Here's a thread on rebuilding in the archive:

Read through the archive and the stickies for lots of good info on everything.

Most everything else can be found with the search button, which isn't working for me just now. Hmm. I know there was a very recent thread about aftermarket turbos. Found it.

of course u should build it all at once, there's no such thing as half a rebuild. tare it apart and find out what all ur going to need. use micrometers to check all the side, corner, and apex seals. if the engine ur planning on building has well over 130k, i'd say just replace everything. that's what i ended up doing.
