Racing Beat Alu Side Housings
Can anyone give me any information at all about the Racing Beat Aluminium side housings. We are looking at stuffing a 20b into a 1st Gen RX7 with the added weight of the 20b are these light weight side housings worth the added expense. Does anyone have a 20b with these housing. Any advice gratefully accepted.

You can only replace 3 of the four side housings with aluminum. The thicker 20b intermediate housing is not available in aluminum by anyone and probably never will be.
I think the aluminum housing are 50% of the weight of the cast iron.
Is it worth it?
Well that depends on how much money you have. At ~$1400 per housing, without any ports since they are setup intially for p-port engines but can be ported anyway you want for more $$$, most people do not find the expense worth it.
I'd sure like a set....

This is one special project, the bar has certainly been raised and it seems you’ve covered every single angle Gorgeous Gorgeouscar, respect is due. Nice one we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Oh and thanks for the advice on the aluminium side housings as with most things it always seems to come down to a question of cost. If anyone ever comes across any used aluminium side housing for sale I’d be very interested.
