R-Magic HiFlow Turbo NEED INFO

Hey peepz

One of my friends has attained an R-magic hiflow turbo recently. I already have the matching rmagic intercooler for this turbo but I can't seem to find any information on it online. I was told its rated to about 380 ps. Can anyone tell me what that would be approx in rwhp?

I was looking at upgrading my current s5 hiflow on my FC but the cost of another dump, manifold, external gate etc for the other turbos are too much so one that would bolt on would be ideal for me to push summore power. Also considering BNR turbo but the problem is i live in Australia so depends how much postage is going to cost.

Any information on this R-magic hiflow would be greatly appreciated, already searched all the forums i can find and didnt really have any info, and rmagic stuff is very very rare in Australia so no one down under really know anything about it.

Cheers

Juz

More info needed, like measuements of wheel sizes. Pic would help too.

PS is a metric form of HP

PS = ~735.5W
HP = ~745.7W

They are farily close 390PS = 384.7HP

Thats a pic of the brand new one, no idea on sizes, all i was told is its rated to 380 ps which is like 375hp. So if the turbo is good for 380 ps it would be 275 flywheel hp and not 375 rwhp yer?

What would 375 flywheel hp be in rwhp? This for me is a much cheaper alternative to getting a garett or trust turbo but if its not going to give me much more power than my rebuilt hiflow then no point upgrading.

I'll be able to look at the turbo when it lands, (still in shipping atm with all the other stuff) and i can do some measurements then, just wanted an idea if it'd suit me or not

Try searching the 2nd gen section, its a hybrid S5 turbo. I think it was comparable to like BNR stage 3 or 4. So if you search for other members running it, you will get an idea of what to expect.

Even though a turbo is rated an X amount of HP/PS doesnt mean you going to have that by bolting on. Usually means what its capable of and all depends on engine set up of what you actually get.

From my understanding if that turbo is rated at 380PS, that pretty much the max output.

Yeh I've searched the 2nd gen forums before and just did it again there and couldnt find anyone running the R-magic turbo hence why i posted here. Maybe my search skills just suck lol

I went to the turbotenics website and looked at the hybrids however there are many that are rated in the hp range. Could be any one of the T04E 60 or 50 hybrids and since i have no info on sizes I can't pinpoint which one it would be.

The r-magic website also does not give much info about the turbo, google translation is also pretty average lol, im unsure if they sell the turbo in a number sizes or only one also.

All i want to know what power people have attained with this rmagic turbo so if anyone comes across a thread with someone running this turbo plz forward it my way!
Cheers
