Quick vacuum leak question

Got a question I'm having trouble working out form myself in my head. Let's say your car has a vacuum leak. Keeping your car in neutral, will the effect of the vacuum leak be more or less pronounced when the car is at normal idling rpms (1,000 or thereabouts) or much higher?

What do you mean by 'pronounced'?

Like how much you will notice it? Or as in what effect it has on the car?
