I recently ordered my first set of stock 2 piece Mazda apex seals for my 3rd gen...now my question is...these are 2 piece seals, so why did they come in 1 piece...i can see the corner of the seal, its stuck on there real hard, am I suppose to take them apart before I put them in, every other seal I bought came seperated, this is the first time I bought OEM ones....so someone tell me, are they suppose to be this stuck together or do I have to take them apart somehow??

 

Yes, they are supposed to be stuck together. They'll seperate once you fire the motor up for the first time.....don't seperate them, it'll just make the build that much more difficult.
