power windows

Hello all I own an 88 rx7 and the driver side window (power windows) gets stuck sometimes on the way up. It likes to stop about half way and move up very slowly until abou the last three quarters and then it speeds up again. What gives, if anyone can suggest what part I need to replace (electric motor?) to fix it, it would be much appreciated-------thanks in advance----------Ren

you need the regulator, its the thing that the glass slides on. usually you can take it out, clean it and regrease it and it will work fine

On mine, the rail that the bglass bolts to was all misaligned and the glass was very loosely held to it. I retightened and adjusted it, as well as greasing up the tracks, worked great.
