Ports and internal conditions
A local is selling a 13b with a jport.
I missed out on one deal but then found this one shortly after.
He's had it for about a year or so, ran it for a bit, but then stored it till now.
I asked how many miles are on it but its unknown. He said he's rebuilt many rotarys but someone else rebuilt this one.
Other than a compression check, how else can I be safe buying this engine?
I mean, I know what to expect with a jport, nothing reliable, but I want to make sure it was STILL ported.
Any ideas?
