Hey guys I have a 93 fd rx7 and have been noticing oil underneath the engine I thought it was coming from my turbos until I changed my plugs and wires and came across this.















It's at the bottom left of the first two pics. It seems to have oil all under it so I'm guessing that's what it is, it this bad? What's the name of it and anything else I should know?

 

Hard to tell but it looks like youre talking about the knock sensor. Just above the trailing plug?

That doesnt leak oil boss so your leak is coming from somewhere else. You can unbolt the knock sensor and youll see the end of the threads where the knock sensor bolts on to...ends up at a wall with no way of any oil to come through.

 

I thought it might have been the oil sending unit but idk for sure
