Permanently removing the rear spoiler
Permanently removing the rear spoiler
Thinking about removing the rear spoiler off the 1995 MB I'm buying this week. Any thoughts or experiences? I'd imagine that I'd have to get the entire trunk replaced to do it right, but I was wondering if there are any other solutions you might be aware of.

You can put a couple little welds in the holes, grind it/sand it smooth and have it painted. You'd need to have some resources, but the guy I bought car from had the hatch replaced for this reason, and he said it was about $1500. The other option would be cheaper... you could even buy a welder for that much.
