performence clutches

some one told me that running a stock turbo application clutch on my na car is just as good as picking up a performance clutch wondering if that was true or not? thanks.

I believe that your na transmission spline has 22 teeth and the turbo has 23. So you should find out for sure before you buy a turbo clutch. But what are you trying to gain by using a turbo clutch? Yeah it's stronger than your stock na clutch but are you just trying to save a little money? If so, buy the XTD clutch for your car(NA) off ebay. it's like $140 new. I've been running one of these XTD stage 3 6 puck clutches off ebay in my Turbo II for over a year now with no problems and i'm making 350Whp. hope this helps. stephen.
