Overheating/ CANADA MODEL SPECIFIC
My 87FC N/A has been sitting for 10 years. Its over heating and I don't want to just start replacing Parts for the hell of it. The Thermostat is poping open and closed, the water pump is NOT leaking out of any of the eylets, the THERMOSTAT HOUSING CAP is spewing coolant everywhere, and no visible leaks on the RADIATOR. I plan to flush it tomorrow, so besides flushing the system, and replacing the thermostat for safe mesure, where should i go from here? How reliable are the WATERPUMPS?

hey I'm in Wilmington DE, send me a PM. Maybe I can stop by and give you a hand.
edit: Just saw your previous post. This is Dave, we spoke on the phone about the clutch stuff.

compression is @114 psi, its in the safe threshold. I have done all major problem checks and referenced them with a few websites (including this one) and everything seems to be in order. My buddy says the COOLANT BYPASS because, its plastic and its leaking all over the place. The sealed coolant system is not keeping nominal pressure because of that, so my thought is this; Will just replacing the Bypass, gasket and pressure cap, solve this issue? I've also been told to go with an aluminum racing radiator as well for good measure...
