official parts cleaning thread

i have my motor apart and i want to know the best way to clean each part for my rebuild. turbo, uim, lim, throttlebody, housings, rotors etc. any tips from past experiences would be great. maybe this can be a sticky or something

carb cleaner worke pretty good most everything. simple green works well to. if u have a pressure cleaner put the cleaner hose into a bottle of simple green and have at it.

You're still probably gonna have to expend some elbow grease using a stiff wire brush. But simple green helps a lot.
