Smile Noob to rotary

I just got my first rx7, and I have been so overwhelmed by all those new stuffs that I never even heard of before...

and I realized that before I can really do anything to this car, I really need to know this car inside out, but since its my daily driver, I can really afford to take the engine out and study it...

so I'm wandering is there any book or DVD out there that will tell me everything about 13B? like show me the engine inside out, and what does what, and why it's needed, etc...

is there anything like that out there? I really wanna know my car, and I wanna know her inside out!!!

Read the FAQs in the generation specific forums as well as just reading the current threads in your gen specific forums. YOu can learn a whole lot on the website.

Go to your local auto parts store and buy a Haynes Manual for your car. Also, in the FAQ section there are links to online Factory Service Manuals. Read the section on Fuel to begin with. You'll learn about such things as a BAC valve, a Throttle Position Sensor and what is meant by leading and trailing spark plugs. Start in reading the posts on these forums. The more you read, the more you'll learn. Many of the most commonly discussed topics are included in the archives section. Make use of the search function and that will help to keep you from getting flamed by asking questions that have been discussed before. Welcome to RX-7's.

Welcome to the forum. In my sig line is a link to the online FSMs and other rotary related reading. Download whatever you want and read to your hearts content. As far as videos and dvds, there are several different versions of rebuild vids, but nothing that covers rotarys in general.
