ok so i just picked up a 89 gxl, the previous owner said he was driving down the street and all of a sudden there was smoke coming out of the exhaust. he parked it and i bought it. it's been sitting for 10 years. yes 10 years.
there is no battery in the car, but i've hooked it up to my other car using jumper cables and all i get is one click. sounds like it might be the starter clicking.
i'm wondering if there is a way i can turn it over by hand to see if everything is stuck or not.

i'm planning on replacing the engine anyway, but i want to make sure it's gonna start when i put the new engine in.
