New owner here.

Just wanted to say hello. I have been trolling the forums for a while and decided to register and say hello.

My name is Cameron and I live in the North West suburbs of Chicago.

I am amazed at the wealth of information available on this site. Thank god because this is the first rotary I have owned. I have been working on cars for 20+ years and have been seriously into turbocharged imports for about 5 years. I have owned a 93 VR-4 and a 92 Laser Turbo most recently. Both were 12 second cars.

I have been in love with the design of the 3rd gens and got an opportunity to buy one (blown motor) for pennies, so I jumped all over it.

It’s amazing to me how the rotaries are so different from piston motors… This will take some getting used to.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and that I look forward to picking your brains for knowledge. It looks like most of my questions have already been asked and answered but I’m sure I’ll have plenty to ask anyway.

Peace.

Welcome. Unfortunately nothing is really in place yet and this is the old site, but this is the local group.

good luck getting it going. My advice is to shop around when your looking to get your engine rebuilt because some places charge alot more than others
