hey everybody I am new to the forum. I have some questions on the rx7 all the generations. Are there any major flaws in any of the generations. I have had an 85 gs, it finally died about 5 years ago. I just wanted to know the flaws or any major problem because I recently bought a 88 supra and did not know that they blow head gaskets regularly, still today the Toyota books, manuals, and even in all data they still have the wrong torque for the head bolts. I am getting ready to sell the supra and get another rx7 I should have never went to something else. I loved the first one I had and am going to keep this one up better. So any help would be appreciated.

 

there is plenty of info on the advantages and disadvantages all over this forum. Choose a body type and year and start reading.

Thanks how is the forum set up can you post in any section. I ask because I use to be part of a dsm forum and you had to earn so many points to post in other parts. You could only post in newbie.

 

What model rx7 are you thinking about getting? IF its a 3rd gen.. read the FAQ"s in there..

 

Well I have owned a first generation and helping my brothers friend with his second generation, but when the time comes I will buy a second generation. But I ask the questions mostly for my brothers friend till I get another one.
