New engine prolbem. Well maybe.

I just got done installing my new engine. When I say new I mean all new seals, new rotor housing new oil retaining seals & rings, almost everything new. I am confident the engine is built correctly. I also installed a 60-1 turbo, haltech and big FMIC. The car runs great, has a perfect idle except for the lope from the port. It smoked real bad when I first started it up. The smoking went away for the most part but does smoke still a little. The engine now has about 60miles on it. Am I worried about nothing or is this something I should be concerned about? I did use alot of assembly lube and the new downpipe was caked with lube also. Hopefully im just over reacting but I would like your guys input.
Thanks,
Brian

If you're worried, then do a compression check - this is the only thing that's going to confirm is something is wrong.

Seriously, you've got very little miles on the engine.&nbsp I've had engines that smoked up to the first 500 miles!&nbsp I think you're being a bit paranoid at his point...

Thanks alot, I feel alot better to hear that. Your right I am being paranoid, I find myself pulling over every 5 miles to pop the hood to make sure everything is ok. I should have more confidence in myself.

Paranoid actually is more safe - don't feel bad about it.&nbsp I understand what you mean...I spent a lot of time and money on my first rebuild, and I was super paranoid myself...

If you're really worried about it, take it over to KDR.
