Never seen fusebox on '01 FD3S and EDFC installation question.

Ok...this is a different fusebox that I can find on my '01 JDM FD3S (code F100)

It's little different from the FD01 fusebox

My question here is very simple

From what i can read/understand the 10A (third from the top left) is about Radio and other stuff.

And the 15A (fourth from the top left) is Engine fuse.

Now I have to istal my TEIN EDFC and I have to grab illumination and 12V constant from Audio fuse and accessory power from engine fuse.

Is this correct? Do you have better ideas/fuse to use?

Thank you.

What is the current draw on the EDFC? I would not suggest grabbing them at the fuse box like that because I assume you're going to use fuse taps. You can grab nearly anywhere you like (behind fuse box, ignition, radio, etc.). If the current draw is relatively low for the EDFC, I would suggest grabbing what you need behind the radio to make it easiest.

Then you think i can simply trim "DIN" cables and connect EDFC"in" stereo hearness?

Real problem is that i can't find EDFC power spec.....

it power 4 little motors and I don't think it drain lot of power but.....

Did an EDFC install onto an 02 harness the other day, just soldered and copied the set-up from the 92 harness that was originally in the car. Pretty sure illumination wasn't required so that wasn't done, all supplies came off the white plug that goes into the ignition switch.

I prefere not to touch ignition switch...

I need a 12 V costant (and I can grab it from stereo hearness)

And a 12V switched acessory power.....Where can i grab this? Cig lighter is switched 12V?

BTW illumination cable not needed? why?

Track car with type N1 shocks - daylight use is his usual requirement.

This seems to indicate lighter is ACC switched, so should be good to go.

I did see a couple of the tiny white square connectors used for lighting - one running down to the console on top of the transmission tunnel in that sub-harness with the handbrake switch wire and the two console ones - and another around the radio or heater control area you could tap into with a little bit of dismantling.....and most importantly, not contorted into the footwell!

Yeah footrest area (fusebox in RHD is on driver side) is a hearness hell and follow cables without dismantling lot of parts us difficult.

Ok i think i try cig lighter. If it doesn't work i move to cut stereo hearness ( that have 12V continuous and 12v accessory write on cable)

I'm not happy with the stereo hearness possibilitą becouse i don't want to use cable that need to power other stuff
