Question Need Help-Buying FC that won't start.

Purchasing an 86 N/A GXL that won’t start.

When the key is turned, all electrical components work fine, but when try to start, nothing..... No noise whatsoever, not a whrrrrrr or clicking or anything.
The person who I'm buying it from said that the car kept blowing fuses (inside the engine near the battery), but replaced an alternator and it stopped blowing the fuses, and still no start... I think it could be the Starter but I'm not sure. What do you think? Could the Alternator thing have anything to do with the car not turning over? Any input is appreciated. Thank You.

it does nothing, do you think that a Ground wire to the alternator might be the problem?

is it a manual? the clutch has a switch that will not alow the car to start if the clutch isnt pressed! if it is maybe the switch is broken! that is where i would look first! also try looking at the starter wires

Also check the main fuse panel in the engine compartment!
