Hey everyone I'm new here I'm in Minot North Dakota right now but I'll be heading to Lansing Michigan in about a month. I have an'86 GXL and on the odd occasion that it does run it idles eratically then when I shut it off it won't start again unless I let it sit for a few hours. Any thoughts or suggestions (or even sarcastic comments) would be greatly appreciated.

 

Need to check compression. It sounds like you are running on one rotor but I could be wrong.

 

Also check for spark..... maybee theres a bad coil.
