Need help, 1986 FC Turbo worth buying?

Hello guys,
my name is Jerry, I'm from Czech republic(Central Europe) and I've found at our local market an 1986 RX7 FC Turbo.
https://auto.bazos.cz/inzerat/780170...fc3s-TURBO.php
I vent to check it, and my findings are. It has LSD, D2 Suspension, Powerflex bushing, BOV, Rtek ECU, wideband O2, and some aftermarket gauges. When we cold started the engine, it won't hold steady idle, we had to hit gas pedal in order to prevent the engine stop. This problem slowly disappear with rising temperature of the engine, when it was warmed at the operation temperature, it runs steady idle. Then we took it to a test drive. The car acceleration was a little bit jerky until the turbo started to pull, than, it was smooth and pull nicely to the redline. The guy who sells it said that these problems started to appear after he left the battery disconnected for quite a while. Is it possible, that after this time, the ECU should loose its map and reload some base map, which will occur this issue? He said the car had engine rebuild about 5000km ago in 2015 which the guy who makes the rebuild(an is considered as a best guy for rotary rebuilds) confirmed. Also the owner told me, that at the back of the oil pan, he noticed some kind of water mist or water drops and he claimed that the oil pan needs to be resealed. What is your opinion about that? I know that it is hard to say since you didn't saw it. But I'll be happy to hear your ideas.
Have a great day
Jerry
P.S. Sorry for my rough english, it is my second language

Jerry86,

It is hard to recommend a car to anyone. For one I do not know the market where you live. The questions needed to be asked are.
Is an RX7 the right car for me?
Are many other RX7's on the market?
If so is the price good on this one?
You can always get a compression check on the engine.
The RTEK is outdated a little, but ok. I always had a few little quirks with it when I had one. It could have just been my understanding of tuning though. All these cars can have idle issues until you fix small issues like vacuum leaks bac valve or the tune of the RTEK. Also someone could have removed the thermowax which is why it won't warm up correctly.

I had issues when connecting a palm pilot or laptop that would actually cause my ECU to reset when I had the RTEK. Then it would need the map reloaded. If the car runs good though then this might not be the case.

I have been to Czech republic a couple times and it is a nice place.
Good luck on your decision.
