Need help

Okay so we're to start ? Some how coolant leaked in the passenger side of my car . Now I didn't know this and I continued to drive the car . All of a sudden my rpms started to go up and Down . So the following day it died as I pulled into work not starting again . The ecu board was fried when I checked last . So today I put a used ecu board in and it fired right up and it sounds good . However now it won't stay running anyone have any ideas . The part I replaced was from same make and model . . I own a 1987 Mazda rx 7 non turbo . If anyone can help that would be awesome !!

Amongst other things, sounds like a vacuum leak.

As you can imagine, coolant leaking into the cabin is not a good feature

Yes the leaks fixed it was my heater core . It was shot and I replaced it. However one of the hose clamps wasn't tight enough sprayed in the car when the pressure built up . I ripped everything back out to fire wall and tightened everything down . Nothing's leaking . But when I first got the car last summer the fuel pump was frozen . I removed it and took it apart and hooked it up to the battery to try to jar it loose it worked . Now I feel it might be that now .

In my experience, once a fuel pump stops.... time to replace... even if you make it work again... its more than likely done

Hi

Yes I agree with you about the fuel pump . However my electrical side said no way let's try to fix it . It's simple lol . Well anyways I figured out what the problem is and it's running like a beast again man I'm so happy right now .. it was a freaking vacuum line coming off right before the throttle body .. I opened up the hood this morning and traced every line and wire in that car lol .. btw what's idle rpms suppose to be . Also I bought 18" racing rims for it . The backs are perfect but the front tires are way too close to the springs . If I hit a bump it will for sure shred the tires . Does anyone know were to buy wheel spacers ? Will I have to extend the bolts also on that once I put the spacers on ? Will there be enough thread on there to put spacers and rims back on ? Anyone have any ideas ..
