My car won't crank

I bought a 1980 rx7 today.
It has sat up for 3 years.
Previous owner just said it stopped running so he parked it.
Engine is clean with no obvious problems.
It's getting fuel and spark to the plugs ,but, I can't figure out how to get the plugs out.
the plugs are so far in the block that i can't get a socket to bite.
Anyway ,I would appreciate some trouble shooting advice on getting this thing to crank

Well getting it to crack should be easy if your engine is not seized. Have you made sure of that by turning you front hub by hand? Then it simple process of illimination check your fuseable link, battery, starter, and then your battery cable. Hope this helps.

never owned an FB but I have owned 4 fc's and one thing fcs do while sitting for a long period of time is flood. What you can do to unflood it which I know works on the FC might work on the FB if it has fuses, remove the ECU fuse, and the Fuel Injector fuse, on an FC they sit under the hood , maybe for the FB it sits under the hood also. First one is Pink which is for the ecu, second one is green for the fuel, on the FC. FB should be the same.Try removing the first one crank up the car with the gas pedal pressed in, Crank it for 30 seconds, after the 30 seconds put the fuse back in, try this about 3-4 times, if it doesnt work, try the Green fuel injector fuse. Same process. try it about 3-4 times, dont pump the gas either. Also you could have bad gas too. Me and my friends used to try this back in the days and it always worked. Another method we tried was that We would also poor a little bit of fuel into the dynamic chamber and crank it over to get it to breath again. Kinda like doing CPR on it till it can start on its own with gas in the tank. I suggest not to try this. Just use Engine starter. heh. Just a hunch poor a little into the carb. Also we would remove the spark plugs and flush out the gas from there, clean up the plugs put it in there and wolla. starts to crank up. another thing is to buy a Haynes manual for your RX7 from your local Auto store. a.k.a Discount Auto, Advance Discount, Pepboys, Napa, Autocare, Autozone. etc.. etc.. its worth the 15 bucks. Its prob less now.

But you should check

1) Fuel pump
2) Fuel filter
3) Spark plug wires/Plugs
4) Carb clogged
5) Bad gas
6) Injectors
all that I can think of for now.
