MSD 6a help needed

hi all, i believe i have a bad dizzy but not sure how to test. this set up was working on my 13b 4port half bridge before the engine went.
i now have a s4 na pport in my 85 with a weber 48ida. same set up but im not getting any spark... i didnt disconnect any wires when i swapped engines
So im running an 84/85 electric dizzy with a gutted ignitor to a single msd 6a box with an FC leading coil for wasted spark.
All of my wiring is correct and the box is getting constant 12v and is grounded (confirmed).

I dont believe the dizzy is sending a signal to the msd box when the engine is cranking over.

How can i confirm this ?

thanks!!!!

locate the white wire from msd box, ground it. if you see a spark, msd box is good

will try it after work. atm the white wire is folded back on itself as i was using the magnetic pick up instead
