Hi guys, I have a Series IV RX7 Turbo , Auto Gt Limited. I want to positively identify the year of manufacture. Have trawled thru countless pages to no avail Can some please help? Chassis/ Vin is FC3S101826

 

Ah Well, time for an update, car has been modded somewhat. Now bridgeported , TO4 Garrett, fmic 17lbs boost, 48mm wastegate , jatco 4 speed, 2800hi stall convertor, stage 2 valve body, 17 x 9'' with MT street radials. 294 rwhp, 12.23 secs @112.37mph. Still has all factory fitments and runs pump fuel. ECU is Microtech LT 10s.
My cruise car is a 1985 S3 12A. Factory Turbo GT manual, 117,000kms, bog stock and unmolested. No rust and a dream to drive. Was imported from Japan for me 12 months ago and has been repainted in original factory mettalic. Will post pics soon

That's sounds like an EARLY model.
It's possibly a 1986 model...maybe 1987.
