mmm fuel smell at idle

Just curious as to what may be causing it. Friends of mine think I'm leaking gas, but i think it's just running rich. (and common causes / fixes if it is)

You should probably search the second gen forum for "fuel smell", "gas smell", or something like that. If you can't find your answer there, then you should probably post this in the second gen forum. You may be at risk of an engine fire.

check the fuel rail's pulsation damper. this is known for leaking and causing engine fires.
