Not sure...I'd say within 15 minutes of continuous blasting...I just sweep it up and pour it back into the blaster through a screen.

What kills me is having to make a plastic tent around anything I want to blast, otherwise the media gets wasted outside. Now, I only pay about $9 for a bag of copper slag so when the weather is good, I will just take the loss of the media as compared to having to tent up the shop and deal with the hassle. But for big stuff (Cosmo floor, probably soon the engine bay) the only choice is to tent it off with plastic. This is one reason I just bought a blasting cabinet for small parts like intake manifolds. I'll be blasting damn near everything with the Cosmo.

I blast everything, Whole car lol. When blasting with the pressure blaster, i go threw a 50lb bag of sand in less than 30sec. I blast at 100psi, hose on my blaster is 3/4in though. blast aboout the size of a 50cent pieces. I just take the leaf blower and blow the driveway off realllly well, it makes cleaning/sifting the sand alot eaiser. i have them plastic rubber made toats i use to sift the sand in, they have lids, there tough, ect ect.

you can sodablast glass without marking it so engine parts are not at risk of pitting etc

the hose is 3/4 the nozzle prolly 1/2in wich is still FML. It gets **** Done!. It holds a few bags. it usually last about 2min non stop. i turn the sand regulator down but after a few times of that it blasts the bottom of the regulator away anyway so its back to full tilt boogy!

Say 1ftSq piece of steel rusted so bad in some spots its nearly threw, i can get it clean in about half min or less.
