its all just spare parts i had laying around from other cars. So really didnt pay anything to get my 200 hp. The car had no motor in it after i pulled out my sr20det and i had a street port NA laying around. Ive had very good luck with tuning Hilborn on all my other cars so i just fig why not......

Any more detailed pictures?

I'm pretty familiar with the mechanical FI systems (the Bosch K-Jettronic is used on the DeLorean, my other automotive obsession) but I've never seen a Hilborn system used on a rotary before...

Hilborn is not really like Bosch K-Jettronic. Hilborn is the style system top fuel runs and Indy ran. The system consists of a Pump that spins at half engine speed a metering valve and rotor, Primary By-Pass Valve, and Secondary By-Pass Valve. That’s the parts of a normal NA setup. There are many different rotor sizes and profiles for different engine size and type of fuel these profiles are what control the throttle position to fuel curve you could say. As you give it gas the rotor runs inside the metering black and lets more fuel to flow to the injectors the position of the rotor controls your idle mixture but so dose the poppet spring in your Secondary By-Pass Valve. The Secondary By-Pass Valve is what controls high rpm closed throttle mixture. Primary By-Pass Valve & poppet is what controls your over all mixture.

Mercedes Benz used mechanical fuel injection up until the early 90's (see stubborn in the dictionary), even on the larger V8's. You might be able to fab something up from there systems, considering used Mercedes don't cost as much as one would think.

my feelings are unless you want to dish out the money for a real system like Hilborn or Ron's. Just dont wate your time. Buy a used webber or some carb. No factory made system will work proper the injector sizes wont be right nor will anything eles... It takes alot of tuning to get a Mech system right.
