Sorry this isnt exactly Rx7 related but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask about this. A friend of mine has a mazda luce/929 HC with the 3.0 JE v6 and 4 speed automatic. He wants to bolt up an n/a fc Rx7 trans. Would that be possible? The 929 had a 13b option in japan, so they couldn't be that much different right?

 

Have to make an adaptor plate, pretty sure the rotary bellhousing isn't interchangeable with boingers

 

there were 929's with manual transmissions, by now quite rare. they had the stronger R box/turbo style transmission. the mpv had the JE v6 and manual trans too
