you can check with the resident vendors on the forum, many of them sell and/or build engines. for tranny, you can check the Classifieds.

on a separate note, why do you prefer the S4 engines? just curious ...

I am also curious why you prefer a s4 vs s5. s5 has bigger intake hoses, better stronger turbo, newer design rotors and a variety of sensors and solenoids that are just all around better. i have a s4 and I love it but i would trade it up for a s5 in a heartbeat!

1cause i gotta brand new s4 turbo and 2 i heard the s4 is easier to tune then a s5 and i can upgrade the s4 little by little then all at once like the s5 is...i was told it was something to do with the ecu...but this is wa i was told. I'd liek an s5 but the s4 liek i said is easier to mod.

wow ...

i think you should have just stopped at "i gotta brand new S4 Turbo - and even that's a stretch." the rest is just JHKkkgugfvdyiohIG - if you didn't get that, i mean, it's nonsense ...

if you're swapping the stock ECU for the same series motor, you'll be fine. future modifications and tuning are no easier from one to the other. i mean, the S5 motor is stronger and has more potential, but there's nothing wrong with your choice. i just think you should make based on better information.

yeah talk to some of the vendors on here, they could hook you up with an engine or rebuild one for you.

The e-bay engines are chancy at best, you better plan on a rebuild sooner or later if it starts at all. You can use an S5 engine, it's more involved but it can be done.
