Leaking Diff, among a few other things..

Alright guys, went and checked out an '87 Tii today that was in worse shape than I had thought.

Right off the bat, owner was trying to tell me that this year didn't come with a PS pump stock(contrary to the internet) When I could see the PS pump studs, hard line and wiring harness as clear as day.

I found a good amount of build-up and some, somewhat fresh fluid around the rear diff main seal. This is on the stock diff, how hard is this to replace? Do I have to be concerned with the differential being bad(first RWD car, outside trucks) It doesn't whine or anything.

So, why do I still want this car? The 13b is giving me compression test of 90 in the front and just over 85 in the rear..not too bad and the owner wasn't asking for much, however that was based on the above issues not being there.

I'm essentially looking for advice for the rear differential. Only other thing wrong with the car is that the OMP is leaking, however, he claims he has a brand new Pineapple racing kit with him..

Thanks!
