L.S.D. for 2nd gen(series 4 ) rurbo

I am looking for a LSD for my 1987 RX-7 turbo. I know I can get s/h clutch type or Kaaz clutch type new, however I am really after a Torsen to suit.
Does anybody know the part number for a Ifini IV torsen LSD from Mazda? Or where I can source one.
Or does the FD torsen centre adapt to the FC?
Can the late Miata torsen be adapted?

Any links, help or input appreciated.
Thx

BTW im in Australia - noone here seems to know and we don`t have a copetition division as such. Guru don`t do torsens for 2nd or 3rd generation and the Ifini diff I am after is Japanese spec only.

FD and FC diffs are interchangeable. The pumpkin casing is NOT however(because someone is bound to ask).

Part number for a Differential out of a '93 FD is P099-27-200D. This is for a manual.

FC/FD Diffs

Thx for your reply.
When u say the differentials are interchangeable, are you talking about the carrier that bolts into the housing as well or just the Torsen differential assembly that the crownwheel bolts onto. Are the gearsets the same as well?? Just want to establish this before I try to get hold of a s/h diff....

Also are the driveshaft spline sizes the same - I assume U say they are interchangeable because it has been done before?

Okay, I'm a little bit unsure of what you're asking me. When I say differential, I mean the piece between the two shims and the two bearing that slide into the final gear. That WHOLE thing is interchangeable from FC to FD and vice versa. It has been done COUNTLESS times.

Oh, the driveshaft spline's are the same size.

Ok thx for your help.
By differential I mean the part that houses the LSD, the same part that the crown gear bolts onto and the same part that the axles slide into. This "differential" part has bearings pressed onto it and is mounted onto the "carrier" that is then bolted into the pumpkin or housing.
That is what I am trying to work out. If there is a Carrier assembly that will bolt into my housing that would be great, otherwise I can cope with stripping the gears off and replacing the centre part. As long as offsets for the crownwheel, bearing sizes and axle splines are identical, all should be good to go which is what I am after. I don`t want to be machining parts etc to get it to fit. As long as my gearset will fit up to the Torsen and my FC axle splines will fit into the torsen and bearings fit into the carrier.

Thanks again

Back from the dead!

So if i get an FD Torsen type diff, can i swap the ring gear from my FC open diff to the FD LSD and itll drop right in? It doesnt need any special crush bearings or preloading or shims or any of that BS???
