This may not be totally relevant to this section, but there appears to be practically no conversation in the detailing section.

Can anyone help me get rid of all these stains/splotches on my intercooler and piping? It was like this when I bought the car, and I cannot get it clean. It doesn't have a texture, the surfaces feel smooth. It's just appearance, but it bothers me. Will I need to sand everything down or something? Not sure what I'm dealing with.
