Thumbs up rotors

The rotors are coded with letters, you can combine them as long as it's the same letter or no more than one letter either way, ei: a rotor coded "C" can be matched with another with D or B code, an A rotor can only be matched with another A or a B one, a B one will work with an A or C rotor. As for the housings as long as they are usable and for the same engine (12A or 13B) there should be no problem.

Don't forget to change the rotor bearings. I've seen some pretty nasty bearings from rotors and stationary gears from changing things around. I have in my motor now, a front rotor from another motor in the rear of my motor, all I did was put in a new bearing. On top of that I have a front rotor housing in the rear and a rear rotor housing in the front.

Can you be more specific about the type (12A, 13B, turbo?) and years of the engines? The rotor weights changed over the years.

Here's some info about the weights and compression:
http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/rotorwgt.htm

You need to have the rotors, flywheel/rear counterweight, and front counterweight match to avoid major imbalance.
