injector duty cycle for a stock fd ecu

hi, i saw this post in the second gen section, https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ctor+duty+cycle and was wondering if anyone in the third gen section knew anything about it. it mainly talks about the injector duty cycle for a stock ecu for a fc and was wondering if there was any kinda injector duty cycle limitation that stock fd ecu's have? also, is there any other way to find out what the injector duty cycle is other then buying a apexi avc-r or a hks injectordutycycle sensor.

Duty cycle refers to the amount of time the injectors are open vs. the time they are closed. So at low RPM the duty cycle will be low, since you don't need all the fuel that could flow though that injector. At higher RPM the duty cycle will be higher, since you do need more of the fuel that can flow through that injector. Duty cycle is constantly changing, based on what the engine needs at any particular moment.

Some automotive multi-meters have duty cycle measuring capabilities. Go down to your auto parts store and find out.
