idle surge any ideas??

idle surge any ideas??
I have an 87 non-turbo with 85K and when it warms up my idle surges but when its cold it doen't like to stay running. I have checked all my vaccum lines and replaced them. I have checked my MAF temperature sensor and every time I do my digital ohm meter showsw a number for a second and thens goes to zero. could this be my problem or is it something else any help will be worshiped.
