my t2 is acting like the mass air flow sensor is screwed up royally but im not sure what could be the cause. the car is an 87 t2 and the symptoms are: rough idle (or lack of idle when cold), hard start, no acceleration, it bogs when i give it gas and at wot it trys to stall, runs extremely rich, and i can hear nada turbo spooling up with rpms up around spooling ranges. is it the maf or maybe a busted *** turbo? please help i am going to try to remove the turbo tomorrow maybe that is it, if it is how would the car run with a na exhuast mani. on it till i can raise the dough to get a new or used replacement? i will keep this post posted on what i do and what i find out but please any info is helpfull info.

 

Send out the injectors to be professionally cleaned and blueprinted. Don't remove the turbo yet. Clean out the injectors, check all grounds, even add a big fatty from the engine to the chassis. Make sure all grounds have bare metal to contact especially the coils. Check all vacuum hoses, more than likely replace them.
