Idle Problems, new motor am I forgettting something???

Hey all, just put a single turbo in the car and started it up for the first time. Things are cool except the funky idle. It surges as if I had a Idle air control problem, but have I overlooked something or neglected another?? Help wanted.

Thanks

Did you add anything besides the turbo?

Porting?
PowerFC (known to have crappy idle at first)
etc

It's funny that you posted this, I just got my T04S running yesterday and it had a pretty sucky idle for about 30 minutes, but it seems to be improving.

Make sure you don't have any big vacuum leaks like if you left the brake booster hose off or something.

Regards,
Brian

No additional add ons, and when we get back to the shop tomorrow we are checking for the vaccum leaks. At a first run through none were to be found, but the car is throwing the "water temperature sensor" code, may that be the cause??

Thanks

If it's got a bad water temp code this may be the problem. It will run rich with a bad CTS. Replace it if you do not have any vacuum leaks.
