I am planing on putting a 13bt in a 87 shell, the shell is completely stripped besides the drivetrain, diff, and wheels. I plan on getting a full 13bt motor(uncut harness,ecu,motor,IC,tranny,and all) I know i will need a radiator. but besides that what else is there oil cooler? any thing need to be changed on the rearend? and what about gauges and stuff? someone hook me up with a list thanks!

 

Use the search function as there have been many write-ups over the years. You have two options, you can stick with your existing N/A drivetrain and use an N/A flywheel and clutch setup. You can send your clutch out and have someone beef it up to take the extra torque or get a performance clutch. The N/A tranny will eventually run out of breath and will fail. That's a function of where it's at in terms of its life.

Option two is a complete TII drivetrain and you're only half way there. That's probably the better way to do it. Find a donor car or try to snag a complete rear end and prop shaft.
