I need help

I have a 90 RX7 non turbo. It has run great since I got it until recently. On July 4th I moved the car to allow my kids room in the drive to light off fire works and then moved it back when they were done. The next morning the car would not start. The engine turns over and I can smell the gas getting to the engine. I have tested the ignition coils and they are good, I replaced the main relay, plugs, and plug wires. Spark is getting to the plugs but it will not fire. I don't know what else to check or try. Can someone please help.

Possibly flooded? (it can happen when you do a quick start, stop on the engine)

Take the plugs out, turn engine over with key until no large amounts of visable mist come out (approx 5-10 secs should do it) , check plugs are dry and put them back in.

Then try to start the car as you normally would...with fingers crossed.

I agree that its probably flooded from the quick start and stop. If you pull the plug and crank it, fuel will spray into the engine bay because the injectors will keep trying to deliver fuel while its cranking. I've always pulled the green 40 amp fuse labeled Eng. Inj. from the fuse box under the hood. Then crank it for 5-10 seconds like he said, replace the fuse and start it up like normal. Pulling the fuse stops the injectors, and cranking it will give the engine a change to push the excess fuel out the exhaust ports.
